Evo Flash

We flash all android and iOS devices inculuding the 7.1 and 10.1 Galaxy Tab to cheap Unlimited no contract services with all the benefits of a top rated phone for a cheap monthly rate and keep it there!

To Root or Not is that the question?

Pros :

You can
- access system files
- change startup images and such
- delete stock apps you don’t use
- backup your entire system on the SD card so you can experiment with different ROMS
- move applications to SD card
- run different ROMS (for better performance or a new interface)
- record videos in 720p

Cons :

You can
- brick your phone if you’re not carefull
- lose your warranty (more about that below)
- kill your CPU alltogether (1GHz snapdragon + overclocking + lack of cooling = potential recipe for disaster)

As for warranty, HTC has shown to be very reasonable in this matter.  They will repair under warranty IF the malfunction isn’t the result of rooting, but your warranty will be void if there’s even the slightest indication that the rooting may have had an influence.  So if the screen of your rooted phone breaks, no worries.  However if you fry the CPU, stop at the ATM first.

Evo Vs Evo the showdown between 4G and 3D

One of the first things you need to do when you get your hands on an htc 3D, is pit it in brutal battle with its progenitor, the original The htc Evo 4G; A phone that was introduced at this exact same event a year ago. As we’d mentioned, we immediately noticed that the EVO 3D didn’t feel particularly heavy or bulky in the hand; in fact, we would’ve guessed that it was a bit lighter than the 4G. Well, turns out they’re almost exactly the same weight — holding the two one right after the other, we couldn’t detect a difference.
As for dimensions, the 4G is actually wider — the 3D’s quite a bit more manageable when you’re holding it, especially if you don’t have giant paws — and they’re right around the same thickness. Pretty amazing that HTC was able to pack this much additional heat into a phone one year after the first model without adding any bulk.
